Avoid brushing or combing wet hair as this also results in tremendous hair loss. Wide-toothed combs should be used to avoid loss of hair.
Modern day treatment includes different kinds of plastic surgeries which are used to restore hair. Hair transplantation is a technique through which bald areas of the scalp are removed by replacing them with skin which has many hair roots. Other well known techniques are skin expansion, scalp flap transfer, and serial excision.
